John
Morning, Afternoon, Evening (delete salutation as applicable for whatever time you’re reading this!),
I’m John, rhythm guitarist for the ramshackle operation known as The Glass Gods. I’ve been playing in bands ranging from emo/punk, folk, rock to all out metal for a number of years now with almost 5 of those being with fellow bass maestro Rob Bryan (El Byron) and over a year with guitar right hand lead guitar man Jack Downing. I’ve been playing guitar now for around 10 years (not that it sounds it!) but music is something that has always been there for me and has got me through some dark times and allowed me to have some amazing experiences. After many failed projects it seems like I’m finally in a band that I can relate to and express myself every step of the way.
Continuing Rob’s body based theme I’d willingly give 2 x testicles, 3 x toes and half of the little finger on my right hand (as long as I could still play) for the band, we’re pretty much family now, so in the words of David Brent ‘I'm the head of this family. You're not going to fiddle with my children. I am, if anyone does.'
